i hope they do bring in other companies for the deals.....
but maybe as peeps have been saying.... naybe companies are losing out.....or its just not worth them taking them...
oh...well............will have to try and find another way of buying my kitchen next year.....:rolleyes:Work to live= not live to work0 -
babymoneyblagger wrote:hi - could someone please clarify this as it has been niggling at me for awhile: if I get items to the value of £250 at MFI and spend my vouchers worth £220 then pay balance of £30 or would I have to buy £570 worth of items minus my £220 then pay balance of £250 (I know its silly question but want to find out before I order as never ordered/used deals before) - many thanks
the first example is correct i.e. our fridge freezer is £400, paid £80 cash deposit, £320 in vouchers for remaining balance. The order value just needs to exceed £250 to allow you to use vouchers.0 -
For anyone needing vouchers in a hurry its always worth taking a look on ebay.. they usually got for about twice the tesco value ...but still about half the deal value...
ie £100 tesco vouchers is worth £400 deals .. would cost you on ebay about £200. Still a good moneysaver0 -

Be careful depending on the deal chosen some vouchers have the surname on
and although MFI used to take any surname combinations I have heard they are tightening up on this.0 -
peskykids wrote:One warning for converting to MFI (as I did), they will only accept 15 vouchers per order, therefore, the maximum amount you can spend in each transaction is £1500. I did two separate orders to purchase my kitchen.
I have also just converted two quarters of clubcard vouchers into virgin holiday vouchers and had to spend a grand total of £83 (in hard cash) for a week all inclusive to the caribbean (for two people). Going in 9 weeks time and I can't wait!
Long live tesco clubcard vouchers!

No idea how the process works but according to MFI it's Tesco who pulled the deal as they didn't realise how popular the deal would become and cost them in the long run. I think MFI were quite happy with the extra business (no idea how much value of the vouchers they get to 'reclaim' from tesco)0 -
Do I have to exchange my vouchers for deals before going to MFI to order what I want (a mattress)?
Also, what's this about only being able to spend 15 vouchers in one transaction, if I'm expecting to get about £300 deals vouchers, what denominations do they come in? Just I'm a bit concerned cos there's no way you can split a mattress order !
Thanks.

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
Yes - you need to order the MFI vouchers before you go. You can either print a form off the Clubcard site and send them by post, or order online if the vouchers have an e-code on.
I've just ordered £170 worth of vouchers and I got 1 x £100, 1 x £60 and 1 x £10 in MFI vouchers.
Ordered a high sleeper with a futon underneath and a matress for my sons new bedroom. Giving him the bigger spare room, and putting an old TV, DVD player and their playstation in with him. That way my boys can take all their mates upstairs and I can breastfeed baby in the sitting room when (s)he arrives, without inquisitive 8-10 year old boys staring at meHere I go again on my own....0
