Homedics shiatsu back massagers

I've tried these in store demos. I've got a bad back and am tempted - but they aren't cheap. Has anyone here got one? Do you use it or did it end up in the 'useless kit' cupbooard?

If they were any good the NHS would use them.

  • I bought one for my husband and yes we do get it out every now and then and it does a great job when we do, but it is in a cupboard for most of the year. If you do get one, don't get one out of house of fraser etc, you can get them £75 cheaper on line - I bought mine from amazon a couple of years ago. Try ebay for a second hand one.

some are better than others. i have a basic one but am thinking of getting one of the ones with rollers as well as shiatsu

i think the key is we have ours permanently out on the office chair so we can sit in it whenever rather than having to go to the pain of setting it up each time

if u go to amazon and do a search there are loads of reviews of them which might help unarrow down which one to get
When you know better you do better

Thanks. There are a confusing number of models. But at least it seems you can get them a lot cheaper than the recommended price.
