Is that couch grass around bulbs?
Personally I'd dig the whole infected area up to a depth of 6-7 inches, prise out any plants/bulbs you want to keep - and bin the rest...

Nope, no Couch grass in the lawn, just had a check, and def no bulbs either, In a new build and lawn has been down about a year, and died just as quick :( we seem to be the tip for the houses then grass layed on top :(

we do have a public footpath next to our garden and have to contend with all sorts but can't seem to get rid of this or find out what it is, its slowly taking over the garden :(

They could be Bluebells - was the site originally woodland?
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

Does it get any bigger than that? flower? have you dug a bit up? if so what sort of roots are there?

I assume you are talking about the thicker stems that look like bulb leaves?

We are next to a large park, that I guess would have been woodlands at one point, but before the house were her they were old garages

I wondered if it was from some kind of bulb, but we pulled one up last year, and there was no bulb or root system that came up with it, just been in the garden with a torch and dug a hole 6" deep and bulb, will post pic in a sec of what I have
