                    Hi Fellow Gardeners
Yes, I know, I shouldn't have bought them... I was in Lidls and bought their white asparagus plants (3).. I used to have an asparagus bed until my beloved dug them up thinking they were weeds.. After all the hard work in creating the bed, I vowed never to grow them again !!
'Cause I am getting older, I don't have a veggie plot any more .. the chickens are now on it .. so the question is - Can I grow them permanently in a large pot ???
Cheers

i can't say i have ever tried it or know anybody that has has grown asparagus in pots - but since you have bought them already - i guess you will just have to try it and let us know how you get on
my first instinct is - anything will grow in pots - as long as the pot is big enough saving money by growing my own - much of which gets drunk saving money by growing my own - much of which gets drunk
 made loads last year :beer:0

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.... You'll have to wait a few years on my feedback though !!!0
