Yep, repeatedly had them over the past few months. My car was hit but I wasn't in it at the time, was repaired with no extra cost to me and they paid compensation for every day my car was off the road so I don't know who these people texting are or where they got my number from. Strange!:undecided

Perhaps the spamhaus responsible sent the text to every number in a dialling block?

I'm glad i'm not the only one, i thought it was due to a major accident 4 1/2 years ago, now i think its just a chancer...not the they were going to get anywhere, that accident was settled (for much less than it should be, might i add, as I did actually have amnesia lol)

Just thought I'd add to this one.... :D

I registered with a company called CPR (Call Prevention Registry) as the TPS doesn't work in my opinion! And they have blocked all annoying marketing calls (and DCA's from my ex partner) apart from one company.... So far this week I have had the "£3750 for an accident" text, "Do you want us to do a Will for you?" phone call and Auto Trader plagueing me 3 times a day. It is all from the same company according to CPR and getting slightly tedious now..... (they say they know who it is and they are well known for it)

So its some company that has no doubt bought your details from somewhere just to irritate you :mad::mad:

PS Texting STOP doesn't work :(:( I've done it 3 times now and still keep getting them!!! Barstewards.... thats all I have to say!!!!!!!!:mad::mad:
