I know. I already went to mediation and have proof but the court said no I have to go again. It is just another way to make money from people. My solicitor says that mediation hardly ever works.

Flee that is so not good.......Im all for mediation, but only if it is genuinely requested and needed, especially as it costs about 120 a session........

Supposedly it saves you money. I read that typical mediation costs around £550 whereas the same thing with solicitors is £2500. I think this is bull as I used mediation but Ex-OH refused to attend, so it cost me more.
    Money making scheme.

plenty of people 'succeed' at mediation. But you can only do that if both parties are open to it. My ex sure as hell wasn't - having seen the size of his solicitor's bill (secured via a CCJ against a house we both owned), I suspect he wishes he hadn't been so pig headed now!

My Oh is willing but only because he thought it would help..........but really we both know she wont budge and he wants to keep the house....so cant see the point in spending this kind of money for nothing.............its disgusting really.
