in IVA & DRO
HI all,
I completed my IVA march 1st 2010 and am just in the process of cleaning up my credit file! All defaults associated with the iva have been removed including one from Lloyds tsb that was given 3 months after the start of my Iva. Lloyds admitted that it was wrong to default me after the start of the iva and so amended the date of the default to coincide with the start of the iva, meaning that it dropped off on the 1st of march 2011. I checked all credit reference agencies and it had gone from all of them, today I have checked Call credit and the default is back on!!! It is on none of the others so what is happening!! Trouble is I am still battling with callcredit and experian to get the IVA data removed, experian are talking to me and responding to emails but call credit just dont seem to want to know anything!! How can they just put an out of date default back on my file after it has been removed by the issuer??

From what I can gather Callcredit are somewhat of a rogue organisation and their records are "dubious" at best. How they get to be one of the top three is beyond me!
Hopefully someone who knows the data laws will happen along and be able to advise0 -
Update: default removed and IVA removed from "CALLCREDIT" after a very straight to the point email!! :j0

Hi Now,
This is a copy of the message that I sent to them....
Can you please explain why a default that was removed by the issuer has now been put back on to my credit file!!! This default was removed by Lloyds tsb as it held incorrect information and was out of date!!!
I will be contacting lloyds today to find out if this has been put back on by them, if it has not and the information has been put on by yourselves I will be contacting the ICO today! Also you have had a copy of my completion certificate since the 9th of march and despite numerous emails ( which have not been answered) and many phonecalls to your less than helpful customer services, the information regarding my previous IVA remains visible on my file.
It comes across to me that you are a two bit, wanna be credit reference agency that is trying to play alongside the big boys ( experian & Equifax) and failing MISERABLY!!!
I am no longer prepared to waste my time and money trying to contact you regarding these matters and if they are not dealt with by the close of business today I will be forwarding all the details to the ICO!!
The default and IVA was removed the following day and I recieved NO response to the email :rotfl:0 -

They aren't one of the top three - there are only three!
