Got a reply from our appeal and they say it's within it's correct band :mad:
Next door is very slightly smaller, same plot of land, valued maybe £10k less now and they are a lower band.
Did the valuation as at 1991 and was a band lower. The assessor said, 'bet you've used one of those assessment sites on that Martin Lewis site then have you. They're miles out'
The letter states that I cannot appeal further :mad:
I wouldn't mind but I dont get any extras to anyone else. The police, fire or ambulance dont come quicker, nor do I have bigger bins, yet I pay £500 more a year than next door.
The 'assessor' from the council was very chatty and gave me the impression that it would be lowered....gitLife is a rollercoaster.....ya just gotta ride it:whistle:0
