What are everyone's ideas for the best place to sell toiletries etc? I've got so many bottle of this and bottles of that, and bottles of everything!! Obviously lots are good to keep if they are things that I will use so I don't have to buy them in the future, but lots are things that really, I'm just not going to use, but bought in the past, before my MSE days, when on offers or clearance etc.
I've got lots of salon brands, like Trevor Sorbie and Charles Worthington that are expensive in the shops.

Would try Ebay, but they are fairly heavy so by the time postage is paid, it wouldn't really be worth people buying them as they might as well just nip down to Boots.

If you dont want to go the ebay route, then you could maybe get a few quid each for them if you do carboot sales.
Or you could save them to make a hamper style bithday or christmas prezzie.

Ive relisted a few items on ebay last night that didnt sell over the free listing period.

Ive been reading over the thread that i posted a link to, and have realised that i dont use my 99p free listings, so have decided to start using them up each month, my camera is on charge as i type!! ive got a large stash of magazines at the side of me, slimming world and primas mainly so i thinking of trying them out

Ive given up on surveys, personally im finding them soooooo boring to do

Im waiting for some ebay items ive bought to arrive, 5 items all too bulky to fit through the post box, i got them all nice and cheap but its a right pain if i miss the postman and have to go and pick them up!

OMG~ Just realised.... EBAY has taken over my life!! :rotfl:

My life has been taken over too much by Tesco to be thinking about Ebay.
Which reminds me, I have a couple of things to pack and post today so must do that.
Maybe 1 quick trip to Tesco first though to use 1 of my many DTD vouchers!! :D

Just been paid today by a mystery shopping company. Including the fee only, I have £6 to add. I'm gradually creeping up, but I'm not sure I'll make it this month ... not half way through yet though, so plenty of time!

I have some ebay bits finishing tomorrow, more MS payments to come through later in the month and delayed backdated payrise money which I'll add as a bit of a bonus so plenty so fingers crossed.

I agree on the surveys. I get quite a few to do but i just find them so boring to do every half hour or so. I'd rather go for a run for half hour than make a measley 0.50p at one of those surveys...

ebay has taken over my life too hehe! i now have a whole cupboard dedicated to stuff to sell on ebay.its slightly worrying lol! had some fab sales tonight think it'll be about £100 after fees woop!
  • I haven't updated for a while. I won £146.50 on the Grand National! (This includes the cost of my bets as I was using previous winnings that were still in the online bookies :))

    I also got a £26.26 refund and £3 for a survey.

My ebay item has had a bid on it so will get something for that when it closes in about an hour.

Total so far £175.76/£150 :T ... ok so most of it was luck but I'm not complaining.
