I've had a good day with eBay sales today, will be adding the proceeds in the next couple of days after posting. I do have £1.33, loose change from this week, not much but it all helps!!

    Debt-free and Proud!
Well I was at a ruby wedding last night and expected to spend quite a bit at the bar only to find it was a free bar all night. Going to put £10 in my jar even though I would have spent much more than that £10 is what im adding to my total x

Redeemed £20 of vouchers last night, £10 Consumer Pulse, and £10 Shop and Scan.
Also sold about 20 things on Ebay last night, mostly old clothes that are in big bags filling my lounge, so just want them gone and wouldn't have cared if they'd just sold for 99p to be honest! Started most things at a couple of £s though as was free listing last weekend, but was really pleased with how much some things went for. Even just a couple of tops that went for £5-6, not huge money but more than I would have expected and was tempted at times just to take the whole lot to charity shop to be rid of it!! Plus they were really good quality M&S/Debenhams etc only worn a couple of times, so the buyer got a bargain too. So chuffed with that all round :D
Will add total after I've posted. (Bleugh, that's the yucky part of selling lots at a time!)

Still madly DTDing at Tesco too, so haven't done food shopping an ages, will work out an amount to add for that given how much we would have spent on normal shopping.

And just checked banking, and have £12 to add from some MSing.
So + £32 into the total for now :D

  • I also managed another £100.00 in ebay sales for some tops so I'm feeling pretty pleased with that.

Glad to see everyone doing so well.
    Whatever

2011 Wins: £25 Zavvi Voucher, Silver Spoon Cakecraft Flavoured Icing...
  • Am a bit dissapointed as havent managed to list anything on ebay yet, but did manage to go through about half of my craft stuff last night and so have a big pile of bits and bobs.

Only problem is that the little one hardly slept last night (think he might be going through his 3 week growth spurt) so am shattered and the OH is back to work full time this week (its been so nice having him home) and so very unlikely will get much done today, but well done to everyone else your all keeping me very motivated :D

Don't try and do too much Little Monkey Morgan!
I made that mistake when I had my little one, and knew that now we had him it was even more important that I Ebayed all our old clutter, both for money reasons, and even more so just because for such a small person, boy do they have a lot of stuff and take up a lot of space!!

But at the end of the day, your baby will never be so new to you as they are now, so don't be too hard on yourself and feel ike you should be doing everything!!
Make the most of the times when babe is asleep to get on with things, as well as Resting of course!!

  • Thanks for the support and wise words Monkeynut am lucky as hubby didnt start until 12 today and so he took the little man for an hour while I got a nap, that followed by a cuppa and a fairy cake equals an almost human mummy.

He wont sleep much at the mo but am going to try the sling this afternoon to see if I can get some cooking and ebay photo taking done (I think I can do the listing bit one handed whilst breast feeding, well its worth a try).

Am only going to list 10 items a day so that there will be no massive post office runs and might even try buying postage online for the craft magazines (I have LOADS so hope they sell) as they can go in the postbox at the end of the road :)
