If I bought one for every room in my house will it have any affect on my dog and my forthcoming kittens ? I know it says one covers a whole house but I am terrified of mice and found one in my wardrobe last week , cue me crying hysterically at 1am etc , so want one for every room to be doubly sure the blighters don't come back . I am planning on getting approx 5-7 of these .
Thanks

These sonic things don't work.
Just get the kittens... or some poison. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Well, they give me a headache, so I would think that many may well affect your pets.Trust me - I'm NOT a doctor!0

I have 7 traps down in the house and poison in the loft as well . You saying about headaches , I currently suffer from multiple vision loosing headaches each day and am awaiting an MRI scan to rule out anything untoward but since I plugged one in a week ago I haven't had a headache , weird !Baby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .

Surely the cats will take care of the mice?
We discovered a nest of mice in a roofspace when renovating our house last autumn. Even now, almost 6 months later, my cat will occasionally sit facing the walling and stare up hopefully at the ceiling, just willing more mice to fall!0 -

I bought one of these about a month ago and have it plugged in in my living room. My kitten is not bothered by it at all and the best thing is I havent seen any big beasty spiders since the day after I got the plug in (I let them off with that cos it does say it takes a few weeks to work properly!)
They say its inaudible to humans but every few minutes I can hear a whistling type of sound, which they say is the frequency changing. I've got used to it and can only hear it when the room is silent, but I'm not too bothered anyway, I'd rather put up with that than have to run to my neighbours house in tears again!0 -
I'm not sure how you would prove these devices were safe or harmful to your health or that of your pets. I wouldn't take the chance personally.
The kitties sound like a much better idea - I've got cats and haven't seen a living thing in my house for years! They are way better at catching spiders - which I HATE - than I am. They either leave me the body to find - grosse! or EAT it - ugh! Daddly longlegs don't last long either. I can go to bed with one in the lounge and it will be gone by the morning.
It's a win win - keeps the cat occupied and interested and the crawlies out! :TLess stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0
