Need new battery for Inspiron 1750 laptop

My Dell (16 months old) has to be kept permanetly on mains as the battery seems to have died. Can anyone suggest where to buy replacement pls? Dont want to buy direct from Dell. Tks.!

    Had a look at ebay, where to start? Lots with bad feedback...direct from China best? No idea as never bought such an item before! Any one bought a battery for inspiron from any of the ebay merchants? Any recommendaitons pls.
