News about the possibility of Coventry Building Society being interested in the 'good part' of Northern Rock:

The Coventry AGM is on 28th April - wish I'd kept my invite to attend!

It may not happen though - there are others interested beside the Coventry.

    It would be fantastic if they could remutualise NR and have a decent sized buiulding society genuinely competing with the banks.

    Don't we already have that with Nationwide, Yorkshire, Skipton, Coventry etc ?
