hi there, i have the asda sim cards in my daughters phone when it was £5 for the sim and they gave you £10 credit which as the girls are young they only text there school feinds and its lsted ages, my nephew wants the same phone which ive found on tesco website which is on vodaphone network wihcih would have been perfect for the asda sim card. Asda now have a sim but its lasts 30days and then have to top up again, are there any sims that i can put £10.00 credit and it lasts even a couple of months.

A cheaper alternative to asda and gg is icardmobile.co.uk they use the vodafone network and you will not need to unlock your phone if on vodafone or asda. landlines are currently 1p a minute mobiles 5p and texts 4p. 0845 are 10p. but no data.

many thanks for the info on icard, just ordered myself a sim card.

was going to join virgin but their voicemail is NOT included in any inclusive minutes!
surprisingly i cant see any notice of that in the t+c's
  • I've just had a look at the icardmobile.co.uk site, seems OK, only drawback for me is no Roaming, MMS, Video Messages or internet.

Just basic Talk and Text... Might not be suitable for all.
If it wasn't for the mistakes I made in the past (and learned from), I wouldn't be who and where I am today. It doesn't matter if you've cocked up, what matters is that you put it right and apologise. x

If you want a comparison - but doesn't include icardmobile (which looks pretty good) - you could try here
