ohhh lovely! I love your invites. My OH was talking about our invites saying it was like receiving a pack- apparently that is really cool!
A bit of good news today, one of OHs friends was meant to be travelling until September, so wouldn't be able to make it for OHs stag do. He let me know today that he has booked his flights so he WILL be able to make it, and is thinking of keeping it as a surprise for him! However, this does now mean that I may have to keep good news from him for 6 months!!! How do I do that?!?! (my OH was really disappointed as he doesn't have many friends, just a quality few!) I want to tell him immediately to make him happy!!!!

so... you lot have done waaaay more planning than me!! starting to panic just a little haha

i have decided to make my own invites to save on cost, went down to hobbycraft yesterday and got some brill card blanks and envelopes - they are on special offer atm we paid £4.99 for a pack of 50!!

really need to get them out quite soon i think cos our wedding is on a friday and quite a few of our friends do shift work. when is everyone sending their invites out? am i worrying unnecessarily?

got an appointment to give notice to marry next week, its starting to get really real now! im soo excited!!

is there anything else i need to be planning right now? i need all the help i can get im afraid, ive never even been to a wedding before!!

Baleb- don't worry, I have never been to a wedding either!

We are planning on giving out invites out in July, and they have an RSVP date by 1st September. I think we will send a few out in June tho, as some friends are going travelling, and some people live abroad. We sent out save the dates thou, so know some people have already booked rooms etc. If you haven't sent out save the dates, maybe June at least?? As ur is a friday I would think that was reasonable.

What else have you got to plan?

Oh and OH was all miserable again last night that no-one could come to his stag do. n I can't tell him that one of his friends I goin to surprise him... :eek:
