I don't live where I am getting married either. It is annoying trying to organise from else where. Saying that tho, we went to York for the flowers, live in London n getting married in Dorset! So would have travelled for the free flowers anyway! Meeting with the suppliers and registrars will be hard tho, as we are both only free at weekends. N I'm guessing registrars n suppliers r busy!

We iced our Christmas cake today, made 2 little ones, one christmassy, and one as practice for the wedding. (but without the people) We are very pleased with it! What do you think?

The runners shiny, but won't be once it has dried... :)

This is the kind of thing we are going for if anyone's forgotten...

Although we've been busy with Christmas, it's also been a good time to get things done (as I have some time off work!).
Booked the honeymoon yesterday! And the photographer today.
Going cake shopping next week (OHs Grandma has offered to buy it so choosing it while she remembers).
Dress shopping next week and think I know which dress I want to order. Yay!! Feel like i'm getting somewhere!

Jo-when do you think is a good time to get mens suits sorted out?

Also... OH is hiring suits for himself, groom and usher and both our Dads- i this similar to everyone else>?
  • Looks like we're all back to getting things sorted after xmas! We booked our honeymoon to Cuba today. Also went into Wilkos and grabbed some lovely candles in glass jars, reduced to 62p in the sale, to use as favours for the female guests- going to tart them up with some ribbon. Well chuffed!
