My work is like that too. Even the pages that I occasionally need to use for work are blocked! :rotfl:
Well I got another thing ticked of the list last night and got train tickets for the hen/stag do.OH has seemed to realise that he needs to communicate with his BM- so stuff actually got sorted last night! :rotfl:
:T0 -
well done jo for getting your tickets
I hate yodel - i ordered some things so i can start putting them together (only 100 days left lol) tracking says it went out for delivery at 8am and i have been sat on the phone for 20 minutes now trying to find out where my package is they do this every time and every time i have to call and kick up a fuss before i get my package
finishing off the invites tonight, also going to do all of the birthday stuff get it ordered etc and then wrapped and put away ASAP
have just had confirmation from some more foreign family so will be helping them get sorted as it seems no one can do anything for themselves these days
sorry it seems at the moment all i do is moan lol i'm not really this grumpy it just all seems to get stored up for on hereThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -

***********warning rant ahead***********
sat on facebook this morning after a rather heavy night last night and i get a little message pop up from my cousin
'its really unfair that you are not inviting children to the reception'
so i explain the capacity and i would rather 4 people i want their than 4 children ( 4 of the guests have 4 children) who will just annoy me when we are trying to party
'cant you borrow money from your dad to get a bigger place?'
firstly i havent borrowed money from my dad since i was about 17 secondly i love the place i am getting married and with 3 months to go why should i cancel everything and move everything so that i can pay fro children to come when i dont want them their costing me thousands more than this wedding is already costing me
'well i think its a bit selfish'
this is when i closed facebook and came here to rant YES it is selfish it is mine and OHs wedding day if our own children arent allowed to the evening why would i want possibly 23 children (all the children of people we have invited) taking up the spaces of people i actually want to be there
oh and his wedding is a small affair with only immediate family and he is not inviting any children because of the restriction on numbers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
some people are just getting my back up atm
back to doing some constructive things organising my boxes depending on where things are going on the day
hope you all are having a good weekend xThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
sorry just to finish off he has now text me to say that he wont be coming to the ceremony but will be coming in the evening as 'it is a shame to waste a free bar'
i dont think you will be coming lol
managed to get my boxes sortedand have been decorating the sweetie jars (putting a ribbon around them and sticking on a chalk board sticker lol about the limit of my creativeness) ordered the sweets
emailed the dress lady to get an appointment for my fitting
confirmed appointments for tomorrow
confirmed hair and make up for photo shoot next sunday
confirmed photographer for photo shoot
cleared out one of the cupboards for all the wedding stuff to go into (didnt realise how much stuff i had in there 3 bin bags full of baby clothes when my little on is now 2 lol so hopefully get some pennies selling them)
ordered OHs pressie
made up my dads box to send down to him, has cufflinks his cravat and waistcoat a nice card asking him to walk me down the aisle a speech making book and some silly bits
tried on the LOs dress and it is a tiny bit too big which means it should be perfect on the day
bought the gems to cover my shoes in
bought bars for my ears (i have 7 piercings in my ears) so that you wont be able to see them on the day
bought a flexi belly bar for SIL2B so it doesnt show through her dress
now off to shop for a hair band for LO to wear on the day

Well despite your *ahem* 'trouble' you seem to have got a lot done!
We have done nothing, but taken 3 steps back- OHs sister (my BM) causing trouble again. I'm not going to go in to it, but OH was very upset with her yesterday, and I was  that she was making him feel that way. He is too good for them (but then I would think that :rotfl:) and I think they take advantage.
So went to the gym today and took it out with the boxing gloves!
Got a couple more RSVPs yesterday- my best friend n OHs godmother- that one came with a whooping great cheque too! Not very good manners to boast I know... But I am blown away by people's generosity, and hope u guys don't judge me too much!
Also got another pledge today from one of our ushers.
Now will spend the rest of today trying to get OH to call his parents...:T0 -
awwww its nice when people send nice things in cards lol
hope SIL2B isnt causing too many problems
have decided cant kill him so no point dwelling on it
hope your work out was fun im sure those 6 pounds will drop off if you keep getting annoyed lol
boast away its very MSE to get money for pressies lol
am i being thick what is a pledge? The only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
We have a honeyfund website, which has things like scuba diving/ meals etc on there, and people choose what they want to buy us, but the site doesn't handle the money. Therefore it's not really a gift until we recieve the money, it's a pledge. They have to send it direct to us.
Hope that makes sense!:T0 -
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that makes more sense the only pledge i could think of was fraternities in stupid american movies lolThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50

My daughter gets married on 20th October, Its just occurred to me reading here that it's only 103 days:eek:
As far as I know, everything is done, except the dress is in the making stage, they are very organised.
Any suggestions for a surprise from Mum and Dad. They are having a medieval style wedding, if it had been normal, I would have got a sweep. The only thing I can think of is a court jester at the weddingand reception but how on earth do you go about finding one, et alone affording one.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
