Why does FF4 open rubiconproject.com tab???

Installed FF4 in the last few days but now everytime it starts up a tab automatically opens along side my IP homepage with this address

"http://tap2-cdn.rubiconproject.com/partner/scripts/rubicon/emily.html"

Its blank but not sure what it is, dont think it opened the first time I tried FF4 and malwarebytes does detect any problems, any ideas?[FONT=&quot][/FONT]

Check your homepage settings in ff4 to make sure its not added in alongside your current homepage.

Your should see something like

https://www.google.co.uk | https://www.???.com

if it is

looks like just Virginmedia as it should be. 2nd thoughts, just restored to default mozilla home page closed FF and then reopend and the rubiconproject.com tab didn't open, went back to virginmedia home page to set it again and it opens up again so looks like its something to do with VM then

In that case its a most likely a virgin media advert as Rubicon Project website says they are a digital advertising company.

Cheers bengalknights opened VM homepage in explorer and there's no Rubicon, gonna add it to adblock in FF and see if I can block it. Thanks

Ah, thats done the trick, its stopped opening now I've blocked it. Thanks for the help.
