scam buyer

Is there a website or anywhere that lists scam buyers on ebay ?

I recently sold a handful of cheap paperback books to clear some space, one person bought 2 books.
It was cheaper for me to post them as 2 seperate items as opposed to bundling them together.
Out of the blue, ebay had a dispute as buyer hadn't received his item.

The refund in total for both items was £1.10, but it is the principle. One envelope going missing I could understand, but both; posted on the same day etc.... just smells of scammer.

As usual, good old Paypal f8cks the seller off and awards the scammer/buyer a refund - disgraceful really.

I'd just be interested in naming and shaming by mentioning his ebay buyer name.

It's not just me they seem to pick on then?

The number of items I've sent out and the buyer says they didn't receive is unbeleavable. Royal Mail can't be that bad.

The worst thing is you can't even leave negitive feedback for buyers anymore.

I have not sold much on ebay for ages, due to the number of scumbags on there.
Had a buyer claim a product was faulty, opened a dispute and ebay and paypal refunded him - I never even got the item returned to confirm it was faulty.

It is a joke how poor the sellers are treated.

Maybe, but if a whole sack of mail went missing, or the postman was delivering the mail but hiding it in his attic, or he was too lazy to deliver it and just threw the entire contents of his sack into a skip, or if he just had too much to deliver in the time allotted so he delivered half and threw the other half away. You'd expect both items to go missing.

As for a name and shame web site, be careful what you wish for, their may be a buyer on another forum saying he

"bought two books but they never arrived, and now the seller is saying he posted both of them in separate packs. Now I can believe one pack going missing, but both! The scamming seller never posted them and is now claiming they are lost in the post".

There's two sides to every coin, the buyer can claim his money back from paypal, and the seller can claim from the company he sub contracted the delivery to.

    Fair point mate.

As I mentioned it wasn't really the money value as the items were just bits I was clearing out, but after having one the week before; where I had a buyer claim a product was faulty, opened a dispute and ebay and paypal refunded him - I never even got the item returned to confirm it was faulty, just p1ssed me off a tad .

Most buyers are genuine honest people. If you think differently you are selling items that are very high risk, or doing something that attracts scammers, and in both cases I would agree that leaving ebay may not be such a bad thing.
But don't blame ebay or all sellers.

Agree with Joe, naming and shaming would be useless, for two reasons, one is malicious allegations, and the other is sellers who think everyone who loses a parcel/receives a faulty item is out to scam them...

If that is the buyer's name in the last sentence of your OP you need to delete as it breaches forum rules and could get you suspended from here,

Agree with others, lost post is annoying but you can't know for sure what happened so need to just claim from RM and move on.

Hmm, my mother had both my sisters gift and my gift fail to arrive one birthday, so she is obviously a scammer then .

It appears it could be his user ID,
OP best if that's removed if it is as it's rather unfair to say the least
