car repairs under manufacturers warranty

Hi all
Just though to ask here as someone may know an answer.
Warranty on my car expired today, however while under warranty the car has had few parts replaced. Does warranty extends anyhow onto the replaced parts?
Reason I am asking is that just yesterday it came out that one of my cars cambelt rolls needs replacing. As a result entirely new cambelt/alternator kits have been mounted. Fortunately still under warranty so saved quite a few good quid here! Now should anything go wrong with the replacement (touch wood), then -as I've been told- I cannot claim any extra repairs under warranty as that one expired today. Are they right about that?
