And one would save you the cost of returning calls to those who leave you a message on 1571 (which you may or may not remember to pick up) so one would be in the true spirit of this (money saving) site whereas 1571 is the opposite - both from your callers' and (if you have to return the call at a time at which you have to pay for your calls) your own points of view.

I prefer it the way it is at least my friends can leave me a message when the phone is engaged, i have free evening calls anyway so returning them wont cost anything

It's having 1571 cutting in when busy that annoys me the most, and why when I find someone has 1571 I never call them again.

Thanks for all of your comments re 1571. i wasn't aware that people felt that strongly about it. Must admit it doesn't bother me one way or another and i have found it useful.

Must admit tho, i don't check it regularly. Once found a message on my phone that was nearly 2 weeks old :eek:
