A website that gives travellers aged 50 plus the opportunity to post travel and holiday reviews and advice online is offering members the opportunity to win a week’s stay in a villa on the Greek island of Corfu.
Silver Travel Advisor was launched to recognise mature travellers’ knowledge and experience, at the same time providing a valuable travel and holiday information source for travellers of all ages,
The competition is being run in conjunction with luxury villa holiday company CV Travel (https://www.cvtravel.co.uk) and the first prize, drawn from all members posting a review on www.silvertraveladvisor.com during April 2011 will win a seven night stay in a villa for two people on the gorgeous north east coast of Corfu, to be taken between 19th September and 31st October 2011.
Autumn is an ideal time to visit the stunning Ionian Island of Corfu and enjoy it at its tranquil best. It is a paradise for nature lovers, with its rich diversity of flora and fauna, an abundance of olive trees and a microclimate that favours the growth of wild flowers turning the ground into a carpet of colour.
The coastal and inland pathways are perfect for gentle rambles, the heady scent of wild herbs includes rosemary, mint, camomile, marjoram and garlic and the ground is dotted with clumps of colourful cyclamen.
