Warning to anyone withdrawing money from Paypal.

I've just been speaking to an advisor at Paypal regarding some money I have withdrawn and she advised me that there's a major problem with the faster payment system which got escalated about 30 minutes ago.

According to the advisor people choosing the faster payment system rather than the regular withdrawal system are having problems with the money hitting their bank accounts. It's being looked into at the moment but she advised me that for the time being if I want to withdraw any more money from the account then I should just use the normal 3-4 day system rather than 1-2 day.

Have to say, I didn't know they offered a faster payment method, where would one find this ? I've just had a look at mine and couldn't see it, all I could see was the standard 2-3 working days withdrawal.

If you click on just the Withdraw button rather than the Transfer to Bank Account in the dropdown box it gives you 2 options for normal payment or faster payment for £5. Every time I've used it the funds have been in my Lloyds TSB account the following morning.

Not noticed the faster payment myself. The past 2 withdrawals I have done this month, have both been standard payments and have hit my account within 3 working day.
