Dropping price of property by 5K has worked wonders!

I have recently reduced the price of my property from 139,950 to 134,950 to try and speed things up after by last buyer dropped out two weeks ago because he couldn't get a mortgage.

I had 17 viewings since the flat has been for sale since the beginning of Feb which I think is pretty good going but since I have reduced the price this week I have had a further 6 viewings with another 2 tomorrow, 1 on sat and another on Monday.

Yesterdays viewers came back for the second time and were really enthusiastic, so fingers crossed for another buyer soon.

It really is about price and if people feel they are getting screwed they walk away. As they say "always leave a bit of meat on the bone for someone else"
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
