Does anyone know where i could get a sofa bed which folds down into a raised mattress and doesn't lie on the floor. Want to spend about £200ish as its only for our spare room but want to use it over xmas. Haved tried argos and ikea but no good.

Try the Futon Company. They do a basic futon for around £300 sale price I think.
Alternitively try Freecycle.org or SH. My Futon Company one bought for a rented property cost me £40 through Freeads, it didn't have much wear and tear at all.
I went to see my tenant this morning and he had friends staying over. They were using it to sleep on so it couldn't have been that bad.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
If you keep a look out, there are some absolute bargains on eBay. You can buy things virtually brand new for a fraction of the cost.
