Gaming Forum or Help?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a gaming forum I have posted my problem on a few but never seem to get replies.I love my point and click games but have a problem with one i have just bought. Seems to be a problem with the graphics card. Have lots of mouse lag in the game.
THQ (the makers) say there is a patch and a fix but i don't know how to do it. I click on it and it tells me to run or save then run again and it opens a zip file (rar file in my case) but i don't know where to unzip it or what to do....
It also tells me to look into the file where the game is saved and change a line of script but i can't find it for the life of me.
can anyone enlighten me or point me in the right direction?

Just unzip it onto your desk top then double click on the patch icon, it should then do it's stuff assuming you've installed the game into it's default location.
