I have just spent an hour updating an excel spreadsheet and then closed it down and didnt save!
Is there any way that I can get it back

You may be lucky and it's kept a copy in the Autosave folder.
Open a fresh instance of Excel and check where it does the autosaves (providing it's switched on) and check that folder.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

If you're using 2003 then have a look in Tools/Options/Save and have a look in the Autosave box for the path.
If you're using anything newer, I can't remember but I know Google knows.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
