i use non-bio, bio makes my skin itch0

DD and I both have sensitive skin that reacts to soap powder but I think it's the perfume or other additives rather than the enzymes because Persil non-bio brings us out in weals but M&S bio doesn't.Dum Spiro Spero0

I use non bio because I'm not on mains drainage. when I need to use bio it involves buckets and handwashing on the grass, not in a sink so I try to avoid it but with pets its inevitable. Some inevitably enters the system because its so hard rinsing thoroughly this way, so I do a rinse in the machine when finished. The water from the buckets etc is also then used on our paths and paving, and some of that will end up in the sytem too, but hopefully less than if I just machine washed.0

I have really sensitive skin - but can use biological powder! as long as it isnt Daz or Ariel! but I think thats more to do with the strong perfume they use! I find it better at stain removal, and I dunno my washing seems to look brighter somehow??????? buy a small box and try it, then decide!0

As above, I think it is the perfume that irritates my skin not that it is biological. I use Netto own brand as this has no smell, removes stains and does not make me itch. The best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T0

some washing powders contain optical brighteners, so your eyes aren't playing tricks on you!0 -
W use non bio as i have quite sensitive skin. Aldi's and Sainsbugs own brand are quite good. Te$co's is rubbish, the clothes come out dirtier than when it first goe sin.
We tried again with surf and iwas in so much pain it was awful. My youngest now has developed an allegy too, so non bio for us.
Personally i think its more of the perfumes rather than the enzymes that cause the reaction, i only have to stand by the till with a box of daz nest to me and thats it i start itching all over.0
