Housing Association calling the shots?

Hello, I've just exchanged contracts with a house I've bought on shared ownership. However, the HA then rushed me into completing before the end of the month (which I did) but have been extremely unreasonable about where and when I can collect the keys, as they need to walk through the property to check defects. I agree with this, but surely it should be arranged on a time and day that suits me? I'm now the legal owner after all. My questions are:
a) Should I always be able to collect keys the day I complete? Is this something legally that the HA must adhere to
b) anyone else had problems with this?
Cheers!

If you've completed already, the house is yours and the keys should be given to you without delay. You should be speaking to your solicitor about this."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Yes you are now co owner of this property so you need to tell the HA to move it in a polite manner or instruct your solicitor to do so on your behalf , I would also say any costs incurred by the HA dragging their feet be passed on to the HA tell them that while your asking them to move it.0

You could turn up at their offices and start unloading a van full of furniture into their office if they don't provide you with a key!

wait until you try to sell..the fun will start. It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -

What does you solicitor have to say about this?
Is the house being bought off the builder by the HA and then a share being sold on? Or are the HA and you buying your respective shares direct from the builder?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
