BOOTS TENS pain relief machine - half price £24.99

Options
Saw this on the Boots website and can highly recommend it.

My wife borrowed it of her sister when she put her back out recently and was back on her feet (no pun intended) within days - rather than the couple of weeks it took her last time. :j

TENS machines should only be used on the advise of a medical professional

And you should never even borrow one without consultation

    Hello John Boy

    Welcome to the MSE site.

I have a Boots T.E.N.S. pain relief unit too............I use it when I have a sports injury and it's brilliant.

It is drug free, safe and simple to use.

However, the following warning statement is in the Instruction Guide:

Do not use during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy or at anytime on the abdomen during pregnancy.

Do not use if you have a heart pacemaker or serious heart rhythm problem.

Do not use if you are driving or operating machinery.

You should be cautious using TENS if you have epilepsy.

Only use on children under 12 under medical supervision.

So.............make sure you read the Instruction Guide carefully.;)

    Regards

    Nile

Yes I bought one of the Lloyds Pharmacy ones for £9.99 about 2 months ago and it is very good for relieving my back pain.

Not true. In certain circumstances possibly, as per other post above.

It only does the same as Slendertone belt/pads anyway, as it gives you small electric shocks to make the muscles in the immediate locality spasm.

If they were dangerous, they wouldn't be on the shelf in the retail section, they'd be behind the pharmacy counter.
