car insurance while in a dispute

My car insurance was up for renewing while a dispute over liability for an accident I had was ongoing. This increased my insurance to about and extra £300 pa


Now the dispute had been settled with me being the non fault party and the other driver 100% liability will I be able to be claim this back? and if so what do I need to do? It was roughly over a 2 year period.


Advice would be appreciated

  • contact your previous insurance and then you will get a refund.
    You may need to send a copy of the solicitors letter to show it was settled in your favour, or no claims bonus update from your currant insurer.
