Free shopping from Tesco

I know that somewhere it's probably morally wrong, but here's what's been happening...
We do our weekly shop online at Tesco. I know there's delivery charges etc, not very thrifty, but we're in the process of moving delivery to the cheaper days (saves £2). And the cost of getting the bus and then taxi hoem counterbalances the cost of delivery, Tesco is also cheaper than our local grocer's, butcher's etc. Anyway, I digress...
For the past few weeks we've had our normal order, plus extra delivered. One week, extra crisps and cereals, brands we don't order, not on the invoice and not charged for, lucky fluke we thought...
Apparently not, last week, double wash powder, toilet role and fabric conditioner. These were ones we normally buy, invoiced only once and charged for only once. They weren't buy 1 get 1 frees either, as those are listed as '2' on the delivery note.
Yay!! Free shopping!! No suprises this week though, next week, who knows?!?!

you have 2 choices then, either report that some one isnt doing their job properly and get them in trouble:eek: or accept these things as a gift for your excellent custom:D~evanesco~ wrote:I know that somewhere it's probably morally wrong, but here's what's been happening...

Since they've been eaten/used I guess I have accepted their free gifts!! I'm sure it's not just me who gets freebies!!

We've had freebies in the past too - in fact I don't think I have ever had an order from Tescos where they haven't chucked something in free. Sometimes its something new to the store, sometimes it stuff that I normally buy anyway. I think it must be part of their policy as our friends receive stuff free too!0

I never get free stuff.:(
In fact last time they charged me for items that I did not receive.
On that basis you should send your free stuff to me!:D0 -
We very rarely get anything free from them. On a few occasions they've missed something out they've either refunded us or sent the items out separatelyBehind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0
