Is £120 a good price to cultivate my garden of 5X5 meters? (Near Bristol).
I called a local guy with a rotovator who advertise in the local ads
He was quoting for 4 to 5 hours work.
The soil is quiet soft with fair amount of sandy loam and on top all we have is the old lawn.

Yes, so he is going to rotovate your garden, not cultivate it.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

If the ground is as soft as you say it is then it shouldn't take 4-5 hours and you are probably better hiring on for a day and doing it yourself. You will want a smaller machine. You could do that area in an hour and give yourself a hell of a workout.0
