Tesco Clubcard deals/hotels

Please forgive if this has been answered elsewhere - when I searched the chat forum I was overwhelmed with information!
My MIL and FIL want to take my daughter and her cousin (4 and 6 respectively) to Legoland next June. I have persuaded them not to use the travelodge £15 on the nightmare off-chance that they will be overbooked (they will be driving from S. Wales and staying the Friday night, going to Legoland all day Saturday and driving back in the evening). They would also have to buy breakfast somewhere for the 4 of them which will significantly bump up the cost.
My husband, daughter and I used some clubcard vouchers last year and booked a room (with breakfast) at the Hilton Bracknell, which I think would suit them fine (only £23 worth of vouchers). However I am aware that the hotel tokens will be issued in my name and according to their terms and conditions, cannot be 'gifted'. I can remember handing over my credit card at reception (but surely this is the same every hotel over?) but cannot remember whether I had to show some sort of ID that the vouchers belonged to me, or whether I had to sign anything. MIL and I of course share the same surname.
Can anyone help?

When you do the booking tell them that it is for MIL and that you are paying.0
