Alliance & Leicester Phishing Site Beware!

Options
I always search google to quickly get to Alliance and Leicester website. Today, at the top of my search result was a phishing:

http://www.alilance-ilcester .net

(I've purposely put a space in it to stop it creating a valid hyper-link) The site looks almost identical to the legitimate site.

What's more worrying is that it the link was a paid advertisement that appeared as the top search result. Needless to say I have already reported it to Google but the rest of you using Alliance and Leicester BEWARE!!!!

It's one of the dangers of not typing in an address yourself.

I agree type the address in the address bar each time.

I am no computer expert but would not the following have been quicker and more secure for you in the long run?

    1. Type in the address of aliance and leicster in the address bar.Click to go there.

    2. Once your there bookmark it in favorites, for use next time.
