Dentist in South wales

Moved to South Wales last November (near Carmarthen) where there are hardly any NHS dentists. I now need a crown replacing.

Can anyone recommend a brilliant dentist for this type of work. As I'll have to pay for this work I'd rather pay the best - so would be grateful for any recommendations. I'm happy to travel anywhere in south Wales.

Anyone? Someone must know a good dentist within 60 miles or so of Carmarthen!

I had my first job as a dentist in Llanelli in 1997.
I can give you names but I am betting at least 50% have retired and who knows what happened to the others in that time. :rotfl:

Word of mouth from the local population is far superior, but ask a few folks don't go off one person. Dentistry is a very personal thing

i would phone your local gp and ask them to recommend someone...

I couldnt find a dentist anywhere unless i paid to go privately.. so welcome to the real world.... an NHS dentist is like rocking horse poo in wales.... and if they have got any vancanies on their books you got to que for hours...to try and get in..
