Hi,
I recently sent off a request to Edexcel to replace an NVQ Level 3 certificate that was missing. I sent the form off via fax, with the payment for completed for the £35.00, I could not remember if it was Edexcel or RSA that issued the cert, but i was sure it was Edexcel.
On the application form, it states that f the search does not bring anything back with the request, they will take £17.50 as an admin fee for running the search.
This week the certificate arrived, it was a BTEC Level 3 certificate. This was the wrong certificate, as i asked for an NVQ. I checked the paperwork that was faxed off, and it was true that i did highligh NVQ several times.
I mailed Edexcel about this, and they have told me to return the certificate and they will refund me the £17.50. I am happy with paying the £17.50, but clearly not sending the certificate back special delivery as requested. As this will cost about £4 (i think).
I paid with my credit card, so a chargeback could be applicable.
Any ideas.?

You don't mention it, but have you even asked them to refund your postage costs in returning the thing to them?0

Ive mailed them back & offered to write void all over it, them to rip the item up, and to take a picture of the item ripped up.
I shall await the reply.0
