We ( I) made D.S a black top hat out of stiff card and decorated it with a few chicks on the top and coloured eggs around the hat the other boys in his class were in awe of him when he walked in with it and they had their yellow ones on though a few did go for Easter Crowns
Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.
  • When my brother was little, his favourite easter hat was a round pill box type hat with broken egg shells stuck in. Round the edge it said "demolition eggspert". Not the easiest to describe but very effective!

Just finished my daughters one, it's supposed to be a daffodil hat, but the petals are a bit saggy... She likes it, which is the main thing!

I cheated and used one of the big plastic money box eggs (that has craft items in about £1.99 for sale around easter)

and covered it in paper. I glued it with a glue gun and it stayed in place with no problem.
The white creme is face pads glued together.
