    yes I agree with most of the above posters! reduce the feeds gradually (kinder for the baby too)! dont express, try to avoid hot baths or showers (I used to find they made the milk flow) and the best cabbage for swollen or painful breasts is Savoy! (its something to do with the dark green leaves). if you have eaten all the cabbage then you can make do with a cold flannel or kitchen roll, but dont use Ice packs - they are far too cold and the nipples too sensitive!

    Thanks alot, I really enjoy breastfeeding so I know I'll miss it :). You know that still happens to me after taking a hot shower, milk would start flowing out, so I'll have to start having luke warm to slightly cold showers, its a good thing that the sun start peeping out now that we're in spring so I can manage a cooler shower.
