McDonald Monoploy

It's a pretty clever game by McDonalds - presumably they just print enough of certain 'property cards' to match the number of prizes they have to give away and adjust as and when prizes are claimed / a certain time elapses
So there are probably a handful of property cards that everyone is waiting to find in order to win a prize.0 -
I started to collect them but have given up now. It was costing a fortune and after not one online winner after 10 cards i was pretting annoyed!0
-
I read online that the whole "collection" thing is a bit of a scam, because all the rare properties are actually the only sticker in the set you need to find to claim the prize and they have the instructions on to claim the prize.0

Not seen the promotion but heres how it probably works.
If for the 3 greens you get £100,000 and theres 5 prizes, 1 of the greens will only have 5 printed.
Thats how they would guarantee they only pay out 5 x £100k.
If I get 1 of the 5 printed and toss it away, its gone forever. Mickyd saves 100k.
Want to know who wins? it will be in the T&C's somewhere an address to write to after the comps finished for a list of winners.0 -
This tells you what and where prizes have been won.....http://www.mcdonalds.co.uk/monopoly/play.html
I've only won a cheeseburger and a sundae!)

But the problem is how many people actually play it? I bet more people throw the stickers away without even looking at them than people playing it. Therefore it so much more likely the best and rare stickers are thrown in the bin.0

I find it incredible how many people are selling completely worthless stickers on eBay. Just searching for for 'McDonalds Monopoly' throws up several hundred results.0

On previous McD Monopoly promos, I have that scratty and peeled off stickers off cups etc that people leave on the tables, on top of rubbish bins (seems to be a thing in Leicester where people put their rubbish on the litter bin roofs, not in the bin itself) and picked up a free lunch or two along the way.0 -
