Do you know if there is a way to do this and still be able to play Mindjolt games?
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D
  • I don't think so. I think you will have to keep switching to play Mindjolt games but if it saves you from having your personal details stolen then it is worth it I think :)

Are facebook users at some greater risk of having their connections compromised?

Only once they blindly start using every app going without looking at what it does (or installs) first, but https won't help them there.

There was a tool released a little while ago which, when connected to an unencrypted wireless network, would monitor the network for session cookies for popular websites. These cookies tell the website which user is requesting a page (it is essentially your ID badge).

The tool grabs a copy of the cookie and then you are able to send requests to the website with the stolen cookie, tricking the site into thinking you are the other user.

The sites it was designed for include twitter, facebook, hotmail, google etc who have all moved towards offering full SSL on all connections. This would stop the above attack as the cookie would be encrypted.

So yes they are at greater risk because there is a tool which makes it easier to exploit :)
