I got number 5 on Friday, followed by three small spend days in a row, doh! Must try harder if I am going to meet target :)

Nargle - does this mean I have to come to the marathon dressed as a nut?!

Been away all weekend so I'm too far behind to catch up, anyone want to fill me in on the gossip? How's our Cheryl doing with her new men? :) xx

You got it, kate! Gawd knows what a Nargle costume looks like, though.

I think Cheryl has joined the posh set - bowling, pub lunches etc so the new men on the scene are going to get a bit of a shock when she takes them home and starts rooting around in her cavernous deep freeze for dinner......1986 stroganoff and chips, anyone?

(Only kidding CW, I really think you should write a book on how to entertain on a budget - call it The Whoopsie Dinner Party, or How to Seduce your Man with a BOGOF or something like that.....)

And today makes 4 NSDs for the Nargle!!!

That soggy paintbrush is going to be a dim and distant memory at this rate!

Spendy day tomorrow, though - online delivery from Mr T's using a £10 off voucher, plus need to get some motion lotion.

Keep up the good work everyone!

Got your outfits for the Marathon? Remember the plan is to come dressed to represent your user name...and we need volunteers to run behind Hubert with the dustpan and shovel so as to keep the road clear for all the runners behind us.

I have my go faster stripes and traffic light air freshener, plus fluffy dice at the ready. However there is NO WAY I'm running behind Hubert after having to share the taxi home with him after our last outing (and it was thanks to one of Igors 'cocktails' that I missed the Tardis in the first place) I am pretty sure we'll never ever be able to use that taxi firm again...

How to Seduce your Man with a BOGOF.... is it the glass of wine I've had or does that sound faintly rude? :rotfl::rotfl:

Now why did I pop on...oh yes...NSD #5 in the back of the net :j Did have to buy cat food today (blasted kitty will insist on eating) but I used my Tesc* £5 voucher and £1 from the change jar (well 50p but I'll pull out the other 50p tomorrow). They had some nice Felix As Good As It Looks on offer at £3 a box (she only likes pouches, wont' touch tins) so I hope she likes this.

Been out for dinner tonight with work but that was on expenses, that said, I still chose of the fixed price menu, and that is on offer in April £9.95 instead of £16.95 for 3 courses (and i let my boss have my dessert as I was full so he basically got a free dessert) Can't kick the MSE habit even when someone else is paying :money::rotfl::rotfl:

More meetings tomorrow so prob another NSD - Wed prob won't be, need to get some winter coats dry cleaned and OMG my brows need doing before they need their own number for the marathon

Chap from Saturday is also on a tight budget (his weekly grocery budget is only a few £££s more than mine), and I mentioned that my freezers are generally full of reduced to clear meat and fish - and pies that I get the same way, including 4 m&p pies for 29p.... and at the last his eyes lit up, and he said he wouldn't turn down a bargain like that. So I think it's safe to say he wouldn't have an issue with the contents of my freezer :rotfl:

(and - just for the record - I don't actually have anything in there that pre-dates May 2002. I know that 'cos I've worked my way through everything that moved into the house with us ;))
