I'd hook it up with an ethernet cable and try running the Dell diagnostics.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I think the dell mini10 has a mini plug in wireless card accessed underneath via a panel... perhaps it's become slightly dislodged and needs refitting?
Just a thought... remove battery/power and carry out antistatic precautions before tinkering

There is no access from the underside on my 1018, may be on earlier models.

oh I've got the earlier mini9 Dell which has a panel underneath that unscrews to reveal several parts.
