Printer problems

I bought a canon mg5250 printer from play.com in january this year. The printer has a small lcd display screen which has developed a fault ie. it is red and garbled - the display is unreadable. My question is - who do i contact , play or canon ?- it is obviously under warranty still - also who pays to return the printer to them as it is such a large item it will cost me a fortune. Also has anyone any direct contact numbers for the relevant companies - thanks in advance...

Contractually it's Play.com that has to honour the warrantee and pass it to Canon (or their repair agents) for repair. Thanks for the advice - i have contacted canon who passed me onto their repair center who said that play were liable to pay for the return - just waiting for them to arrange it now - thanks for the help
