Printer problems

I bought a canon mg5250 printer from play.com in january this year. The printer has a small lcd display screen which has developed a fault ie. it is red and garbled - the display is unreadable. My question is - who do i contact , play or canon ?- it is obviously under warranty still - also who pays to return the printer to them as it is such a large item it will cost me a fortune. Also has anyone any direct contact numbers for the relevant companies - thanks in advance...

Contractually it's Play.com that has to honour the warrantee and pass it to Canon (or their repair agents) for repair. It's usual for you to pay for the return of the Printer and Play.com pays for the return of the printer to you. See the Play.com website: https://www.play.com/Helpdesk.aspx?page=ret&r=HOME&pa=
