Silent Firefox

Help

I cannot hear you tube videos using a firefox browser. I do not have a clue as to why?

I can watch hear from other sites, including the test one on the firefox help site, no problems

I can listen to you tube videos on Internet explorer no problem, so its not my hardware.

The videos play fine, they are just silent. The volume sliders are up on the task bar and the you tube site itself

I am running ver 3.6.16

Any ideas

Works fine here, are you sure that it's not muted on the you tube screen??

Try looking at the volume mixer, the plugin container for firefox might be muted. Right click on the volume control, and select 'Open Volume mixer' while youtube is running:
