Vinyl flooring advice needed please

Our kitchen is about 13ft square and currently has an old fashioned, basic council house style floor which if tatty looking makes for a nice surface to work upon for laying a new floor. I'm not in a position to be able to fit laminate flooring or lay tiles myself so I was looking at the easy option of having some vinyl laid instead. We have seen some we like (off a roll not tiles) in the Texygrip range at United Carpets. Being vinyl I am quite concerned about durability though, although this does come with a 10 year guarantee. Ideally I'd like something like Kardean but the Texygrip is about the best I can afford. Can anyone comment on it, is it any good, will it last a fair few years, and is the guarantee actually worth anything?
Thanks in advance.

Don't know if this is any use to you, but when we did our bathroom last year we went to B&Q and got a roll of vinyl from there - my husband just glued it down, and it has been fine...sorry can't help on the different types you mention, but thought the idea of doing it yourself might help.0
