in Credit cards
hi
i have a tesco credit card which is interest free until may. i was considering a balance transfer to another card but don't fully understand how it works. call me dim, i don't mind. if i'm accepted for another card with bt but manage to pay tesco off before all is finalised, will i still be able to keep the new card and account??

Nothing to stop you having more than one credit card.

Ofcourse, you can keep it. Credit cards have various deals, some have 0% on balance transfers for a certain period, some do special offers on purchases. Best to apply for the one that meets your needs.Even time will never heal these scars0

AFAIK the 0% offer would be just for the BT amount. Purchases on the new card would be whatever the CC company's purchases rate is. From my experience, I don't think CC companies offer deals for 0% on BTs and 0% on purchases for X months.if i was to spend on a bt card, it is expensive??
Better to just not spend I'd say.Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0
