Insurance for Military

Hi my son is in the army and has to have insurance life as well as kit , does anyone know the best place to obtain this it has to be the very best we can find (in case) as he has a very high risk job (bomb disposal), any help would be grateful many thanks.

Hi Summer, PAX insurance is available via payroll for serving personnel. Also kit insurance is sold via Pax Insurance (part of Aon, one of the big brokers). Also Forces First might be worth a call0

Just to say he doesn't HAVE to have anything. Insurance in the army is up to the individual.
If he is involved in EOD then PAX is an essential and will cover him against sustaining serious physical injury. There is optional life cover available as well with PAX but remember the basic cover includes accidental death already, the optional life just covers death by natural causesI am a Financial Adviser specialising in Mortgages, Protection, Health and Medical Insurance.
