i have invested in a UV light filter/pump and my pond has cleared of algae in less than 6

Yes another fan of the UV and filter ( mines a green Genie) But remember to change the bulb every spring .
  • thanks Ras, I have taken out as much rubbish as possible and do leave by the side but hadnt noticed the smell before, its probably worse because of the recent hot weather.

The pond is pretty overcrouded with plants that makes it difficult.
I thought the pond pad just got rid of the algae.
 Wisdom doesn't necessarily come with age.
Sometimes age just shows up all by itself ;)

In the end, it's not the years in your life
that count....it's the life in your years :D
