TalkTalk/BT Call Diversion with witheld number problems

Hello.
I signed up for an international telephone number today, to which i want to divert calls made to my UK landline.
The odd things is, that I cannot call into the international number unless my own number is witheld (dial 141 before the number). I tested this with my mobile and its the same.
Therefore, I need to have the call diverted with the 141 prefix, but when I try to input 141003184******* into the BT call Diversion system it says the number cannot be diverted.
The BT Wholesale section of their website says that shortcodes cannot be appended to the diverted number.
Does anyone have a workaround to this? If not, the other thing would be to have permenant witheld number put on my line. but TalkTalk could take up to 3 days to do this. Anyone know of a shortcode that I can dial to set this up now? I know there is a higher charge for non-subscribed use of a service (such as spontaneous use of ringback) but am willing to pay that until the service is subscribed. Of course, if there is a way to fiddle with the divert so it works itself that'd be appreciated also.
The full number I'm diverting to is +31 840******
Thanks.
Hussein.

Know me for who I am, not for who I say I am.
